Above are paintings that I've done for friends and donated art to raise money for

various pet themed fundraising efforts.

In October, 2020, I participated in the Twist Out for Cancer event which strategically matches artists with those touched by cancer to create unique pieces of artwork reflective of their journey. Over a period of 4 months, fifty selected pairs connected in person, via FaceTime, on the phone or by email. Relationships were guided and supported by Twist Out Cancer volunteers with the intention of creating a support system for both the artist and subject. The program finished on a high note with a celebratory art exhibition, gala and auction on Oct 25th where the artwork was revealed for the first time. Funds provide psychosocial support to cancer survivors and their loved ones through creative arts programming. My painting was purchased during the auction! You can learn more HERE.

I have been primarily a printmaker for the past 10 years but recently I began to mix collage with paint on canvas; I also work on paper with watercolor, pastels, and charcoal.  I enjoy mixing various mediums to create visually interesting works of art. My inspiration comes from the works of artists such as Romare Bearden, Louise Bourgeois, and Marc Chagall. I encourage you to explore the work of each artists so that they may inspire you as well!
